Moxi Luo
Counseling Intern
I see therapy as a space where we can slow down and breathe, a space to gently be with your emotions, your body, and your story, just as they are. In this holding space, you may start to notice new paths and possibilities that weren’t visible before.
My approach is grounded in a psychodynamic foundation, while also drawing from a wide range of modalities, including person-centered, mindfulness-based, somatic, existential approaches, and beyond. You’ll likely experience me as deeply curious, authentic, caring, and humble. I strive to meet you where you are, and to honor your pace and ways of knowing.
I believe that no one knows you better than you know yourself. You define how we use this space together. Healing, in my view, doesn’t need to be forced. It unfolds naturally when we create the right conditions for it: safety, flexibility, and room to grow.
I offer therapy in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
