Throughout life, there are many challenges and decisions to navigate while we process and learn from our own experiences. How we make sense of them and give experiences meaning is crucial in moving from feeling stuck towards being fully authentic and present in life. Together, we can work through barriers and move towards a place of self-compassion. As a counselor, I work to create a safe, nurturing, and non-judgmental environment where people can share their experiences, address the process of exploration and healing, and define their own values and goals.
I strongly believe in the power of a collaborative relationship between me and my clients. Grounded in a psychodynamic approach, I approach therapy from a humanistic and trauma-informed lens. I also incorporate mindfulness and somatically rooted therapies to meet the unique needs of each client. I have worked with adults experiencing developmental trauma, chronic pain, ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, and self-esteem concerns. My own background as a musician also informs my approach to working with performance anxiety.
