Adi Tur-Kaspa
I believe that within each of us is an innate capacity to move in directions that better suit us. At times, we may feel stuck, having lost touch with what is meaningful and satisfying to us. Or, we may know what we want but are unsure how to initiate change. I provide a non-judgmental, supportive, and curious environment so that people can deeply and safely explore whatever brings them to therapy. My work aims to alleviate painful symptoms and patterns, increase a sense of authenticity and integration, and transform relationships with oneself and others.
I see motivated individuals and couples of all identities and backgrounds navigating a host of experiences, including but not limited to emotional distress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulty, loss and grief, adjustments to life transitions, self-esteem, fertility issues, trauma, and recovery from substance use or disordered eating.
My approach is tailored to each person’s unique goals and needs. I am rooted in holistic and pragmatic orientations, and enjoy integrating empathy, psychodynamic therapy, emotionally focused therapy, mindfulness, family systems, existentialism, EMDR, relational cultural theories, and humor.
