Tiffany Voltz, M.Ed., LPC, CLC, CHC
M.Ed., Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Somatic Experiencing Practitioner
I am honored to travel alongside clients living with the effects of trauma and grief and be a support through their healing process. Utilizing a holistic, whole-person lens, I work with adults that are exploring career transitions, experiencing burnout, navigating life after infidelity and betrayal trauma, finding their way during and after divorce, healing from developmental and systemic trauma, seeking to build self-trust and self-worth, aligning with their core values, and learning how to uncover the parts of them that hold them back and keep them stuck.
As a trauma therapist, I believe a client is the expert of their experience and therefore incorporate an integrative approach modeled to suit each client’s specific needs which includes somatic experiencing, narrative, solution-focused, and person-centered approaches and interventions. My foundation is somatic, mindfulness and touch practices that allow for the body to enter the therapy space when words are difficult to articulate. I am APSATS trained, a Brainspotting practitioner and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and leverage a strengths-based philosophy to help facilitate growth, discovery, and change.
In addition to being a therapist, I am a mom, a wife, a lifelong learner of the human spirit, a certified life coach (CLC), certified health coach (CHC), a certified Mindset and Meditation teacher, a certified domestic violence support advocate and a successful midlife career transitioner. I spent over 22 years as an HR/People Operations executive in the Chicago technology community, making diversity, inclusion, belonging, vulnerability, and compassion core competencies of the organizations I was a part of. I am thrilled that my midlife career transition to clinical mental health counseling allows me to focus my strengths on helping others through the adversity life brings and to shine the light on the strengths and beauty they possess to live their best lives with intention.
