Through life, there are many challenges and decisions to navigate alongside processing and understanding our own stories. I aim to help individuals on their journeys to grapple with these struggles as well as define their own values and goals. My own experiences in music and performance also inform my approach to working with anxiety, depression, and struggles with self-esteem. As a counselor, I work to create a safe and nurturing environment for my clients to share their experiences and work through this process of exploration.
I am currently a counselor in training at Northwestern’s clinical mental health graduate program, and I believe strongly in the importance of a collaborative relationship between counselor and client. Each individual has their own needs and goals, so I work to match my approach to each person. Grounded in a psychodynamic approach, I draw on acceptance and commitment therapy, existential therapy, and somatically rooted therapies to meet the unique needs of the individual. I hope to have the honor of supporting and walking alongside your journey towards wellness.
