Don Tinsley

Navigating the constantly changing world around us can feel overwhelming. I understand firsthand the challenges of staying focused amidst the daily hustle and bustle. Hey there, I’m Don’Terius Tinsley, a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. 

I earned my psychology degree from Loyola University Chicago, and completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. My areas of expertise revolve around understanding how stress affects decision-making, guiding young adults through their career choices, and helping college students prepare for the workforce. My experiences working with diverse college students have fueled my passion for creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all clients.

In my counseling practice, I utilize the psychodynamic approach, which emphasizes self-awareness and recognizing how the past shapes the present. I specialize in assisting individuals who have faced trauma, struggle with anxiety, and face educational and career-related concerns.

Outside of my professional life, I love exploring new hobbies. Photography and music have been recent favorites of mine.
